LGBTQ+ Support Service Day Registration

Saturday, April 26th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

For safety and security reasons, the location will be disclosed upon completion of this registration form

As a result of recent federal actions, many members of the LGBTQ+ community are facing threats to both their individual identities and families. In response, Boston area law students have organized an LGBTQ+ Support Service Day to assist with completing documents relating to (a) parentage recognition and (b) gender identity alignment.

At this Service Day, law students will assist with completing documents for the following two subject areas:
Parentage Recognition

  • Voluntary Acknowledgement of Parentage

  • Second Parent Adoptions (also known as co-parent adoptions)

  • Joint Petition to Establish Parentage

Gender Identity Alignment

  • Birth Certificates

  • State Identification (drivers license or state issued identification)

We understand that filling out necessary documents can be confusing and complicated and are here to make it less difficult. On the Service Day you may seek more than one type of service if needed. While you wait to receive assistance, light food and activities will be available to you and your children.
